The German Record Critics' Award ("Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik") in the category "Concertos" was given to the latest release by Christian Tetzlaff and the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra led by Paavo Järvi (ODE 1195-2)!

The awarded CD features two virtuoso romantic works: the violin concertos by Robert Schumann and Felix Mendelssohn. Also included is the Fantasy for Violin and orchestra by Schumann.
